Welcome to the InfoTimor Website

    This site is intended to provide you with information about the first social enterprise with a focus on ICT —Info Timor— and its program to bridge the digital divide in East Timor. This site will personally introduce you to the East Timorese participants who will be building the Info Timor social enterprise.

     The Info Timor enterprise has been developed to improve access to information technology in East Timor. The aim is to empower citizens of East Timor by enabling the exchange of information and ideas. The Info Timor enterprise provides young people of East Timor with advanced computer knowledge and skills, enabling them to pass these skills onto local communities, making positive social change and creating employment opportunities in their home country.

     The Info Timor Team currently comprises 12 staff all of who have Certificate level in IT qualifications. This training is provided on the job in Info Timor's training workshop in Baucau.

Info Timor has been operating for over 3 years in Baucau.
